Workshop Repair Service

Our specialist workshop facilities provide repair services on a wide range of electronic and IT equipment. From Desktop PC Computers and Laptops, Printers, TFTs and other Peripherals to Industrial machinery and bespoke specialist systems.

Unlike most companies we don't stop at the physical repair however. We also provide data recovery, software repair and support along with a wide range of other services.

How Does it Work?

The process is simple...

Step 1 Bring in or ship your equipment to us with a description of the fault and we will book it in there and then onto our bespoke tracking database. There is no need to pre-arrange your repair. If you are having problems getting it to us but have the original packing (or similar) then we can send an overnight carrier in to collect from any mainland UK address. Step 2 Our engineers will investigate the problem and provide you with a detailed quotation for the repair based on time (£65+VAT per hour) and parts. If for any reason we are unable to locate the necessary parts and a repair is not possible we will always do our best to offer an alternative solution.
Step 3 If you decide to go ahead, we will obtain and fit the necessary parts, clean, configure and fully test the equipment (including electrical safety testing), then arrange for collection. If you decide NOT to go ahead with the repair, all we ask is a quotation fee of £35+VAT to cover our administration and workshop time - there is nothing else to pay.

Turn-around Times

Our standard workshop turn-around is 5 working days with most jobs completed on schedule (our annual average was last audited as 3.9 days). If your repair is time critical however we also offer faster turn-arounds upon request as follows:-

Sameday repair = 40% surcharge (items must arrive before 10:00am)
24 hour repair = 25% surcharge (items must arrive before 12:00pm)
48 hour repair = 15% surcharge (items must arrive before 12:00pm)

The surcharge is applied to the 'parts and labour' repair cost and this is the figure that we quote eg. £65.00 x 15% = £74.75 +VAT. There are no hidden extras.

PLEASE NOTE: If you decline the repair, the surcharge is applied to the quotation fee.
