ISO 9001:2008 Quality standards The "International Organisation for Standardisation" - known as ISO - is the world's largest developer of standards. ISO standards aim to make the development, manufacturing and supply of products and services more efficient, safer and cleaner for those involved - and most of them we take for granted.
ASAP have been ISO quality registered since 2000 and have followed the regular updates taking us to the latest ISO9001:2008 registration. We are audited by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance every 9 month. This is a well regarded British Standards professional quality system which demonstrates our commitment to quality and customer service.
Our registration covers our wide range of service activities. Our certificate below shows you what we are registered for in details.
ASAP has been fortunate enough to have secured the services of a senior Quality representative in Mr Brian Benson who has many years experience in the introduction and maintenance of quality management systems from different back grounds including defence, the aerospace industry, and most recently Mc Alpine Helicopters. Coming from such a back ground his approach to quality is un-compromising and has ensured that we run a "water tight" system.
The 9001:2008 quality standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organisation:-
From the company perspective, we ensure that we stick to our documented procedures, to track and keep records of all work that we do, and to continually assess these procedures in order to maintain and improve the quality of service that our customers receive.
From the customers' perspective, the standard provides peace of mind that your equipment will be dealt with in an appropriate manor and you will receive a consistently high quality of service throughout.
As part of our quality management system we review our performance every month and the performance statistics we produce are available on request. Each year we review our actual performance against our performance targets and aim for a continual improvement each year. This review is also an opportunity to address any problem areas identified.
